“A Showcase of Brilliance”

 

With immense pleasure St. Joseph’s English Medium School hosted its First School Exhibition “A Showcase of Brilliance” on 30th November 2023.

The warm welcome extended by the management, staff and students set the tone for the day. A formal inaugural ceremony of the School Exhibition captivated the onlookers. Chief guests exhorted the students to be appreciative of all that they receive in life, love the green nature around them, save water, and contribute to earth’s sustainable development. The President Sr. Leena Jacob appreciated the initiative of the school to put up an exhibition that required much hard work and creativity. Guest of hounour Fr. Richard Vaz recalled the inception and organic growth of this school and predicted its momentous future that will see greater heights and horizons. Principal Sr. Liby George thanked everyone and the school felicitated the guests with flowers, uttirium and mementoes. The school entrance door was decorated with flowers and the cutting of ribbon marked the opening of the school exhibition. Lighting of lamp in the school portico illuminated the commencement of a great event.

The school was amazingly enchanted to have been facilitating the school exhibition and welcome other neighboring schools too, with the goal of uniting individuals under the same roof with common interests. Four schools from and around Sankarakhol visited the exhibition with their teachers and drew inspiration. Parents and well wishes too attended the exhibition in huge number and with great fervor. There were more than 340 working projects displayed by the students of various subjects. Each class decorated their classrooms very artistically with their crafts works and projects. There was a selfie corner where people flocked to click photographs and watch the school activities on the projector screen. School corridors were decorated with balloons and with informative captions and art works.

Every student involved in this show served as a manifestation of the ethos of curiosity and commitment. The diligent efforts, unwavering determination, and inventive strategies employed by the students deserved praise. Not only have they augmented their intellectual acumen, but they have also served as a source of inspiration for others by their exceptional intelligence and creativity.

A crucial factor contributed to the achievement of a student during this exhibition was the guidance of a committed group of mentors who have provided support and guidance. The children have learned through this exhibition to demonstrate an excellent display of expertise in their topic, a blend of teamwork, collaboration, project management, leadership skills and emotional skills during the presentation.

The guests expressed their sincere appreciation to the educators and mentors for their steadfast assistance, knowledge, and motivation to students. It was so overwhelming to see the kids from play school to class VIII talk about the topics that are of utmost importance these days and that too with all the facts, statistics, understanding of the topic as a Global issue.

It was truly euphoric to see a galaxy of guests gracing the occasion. Chief Guest was Shri Hruda Ranjan Sahoo, O.A.S. Sr. Archana, Principal of St. Joseph’s High School, Bharatpur and Sr. Sunita were the judges of the event. They made an assessment of the projects and presentations and announced the winners.
